ACUPUNTURE

Complimentary and Traditional Chinese Medicine practices, especially Acupuncture are now widely accepted.

This program is designed to provide the requisite theoretical, practical and clinical outcomes for those wishing to enter the discipline, and for practicing healthcare professionals who wish to broaden their clinical expertise.

Along with TCM subjects, such as the philosophy, meridians and acupoints, students also learn about physiology, anatomy, microbiology and Western Medical diagnosis.

TCM HERBALIST

Due to the growing interest in natural health and human longevity, the general public is exhibiting an increased awareness in natural and holistic medicine.

Our program is designed to meet the needs of health care professionals who wish to broaden their knowledge in order to increase their clientele, and individuals who are completely new to the field, but have a genuine interest in TCM herbs.

Our TCM Herbalist program consists of courses in Chinese herbs, Chinese Massage, Qi Gong, Tai Ji, Diet Therapy and Western Medicine.

TCM PRACTITIONER

PCU College's Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner program is a unique 3-year program that consists of courses in acupuncture, Chinese herbology, tui-na massage, qi gong, tai ji, diet therapy and Western medicine.

This program is designed to meet the needs of health care professionals who wish to broaden their knowledge in order to increase their clientele, and individuals who are completely new to the field, but have a genuine interest in TCM.

DOCTOR OF TCM

Graduates of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner program may continue in their studies through the Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine program.

This program will enhance students' understanding of TCM clinical sciences, clinical best practices, Western medicine, and Traditional Chinese Classics.

TUINA

Of all the modalities of holistic healthcare to be embraced by Westerners, massage is perhaps the most prevalent.

Our Tuina program trains students in the ancient art of Chinese massage, while providing a foundational understanding of the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) approach to healthcare.

Traditional Chinese massage focuses on the acupressure points and treats patients’ problems including musculoskeletal conditions, diseases, and even headaches.
