Spa Practitioner Internship Clinic and Treatment Descriptions
Spa treatments are also available at the PCU College Holistic Healing Centre. The Spa Practitioner program runs internship clinics that allow students in the program to provide spa therapy services to the public under the supervision of their experienced practitioner-instructors.

Treatment Descriptions
Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is the cornerstone of all massage and the most popular massage treatment. This treatment includes a full body massage that incorporates the neck, back, legs, arms, hands and feet and focuses on well used muscle groups.
Back Massage
This treatment involves Swedish massage that concentrates on the back, shoulders, neck and legs. The focus of the treatment depends on the needs of the client.
Hot Stone Massage
This is a glorious massage treatment that uses smooth, warm basalt stones to provide a warming and relaxing experience. The warmth helps to soften muscles and target problem areas.
Sea Salt Glow
This is a truly pampering experience that involves exfoliation of the whole body with sea salt, followed by a warm towel application and body massage. This treatment will leave skin feeling soft, smooth and supple.
Chinese Massage (Tuina)
This is a hands-on treatment using ancient Traditional Chinese Medicine acupressure techniques. This treatment works to invigorate the flow of qi (energy flow) in the body.
Reflexology
Indulge in the ancient Egyptian treatment of foot reflexology. This treatment works on the premise that the entire body is represented in aspects of the foot.
Chair Massage
This treatment focuses on areas in the back and neck where tension and soreness accumulate. You will be seated comfortably in a padded chair during this treatment.
