Faculty members have been chosen for their medical expertise, clinical experience and exceptional instructional abilities. Aleksandra Meredith-Nawrocki, MA (Poland), Cert. Ed. (UK), P.I.D. (British Columbia), Instructor
Aleksandra Meredith-Nawrocki is an internationally trained and certified practitioner with over 25 years professional and instructional experience in the spa industry. She has been a taught extensively in the United Kingdom and Canada, holding both faculty and management positions. Along with her instructor duties, Aleksandra continues to practice as a spa therapist, esthetician and electrologist in Vancouver, BC.Andrew Kerr, R. TCMP, Instructor
Andrew Kerr studied Doctor of TCM program from PCU College of Holistic Medicine. He is a registered TCM Practitioner in BC. He is specialized in teaching TCM Theory in the Acupuncture program.
Brianne Atkinson, Instructor
Brianne Atkinson is a trained and certified practitioner with over 8 years professional experience in the beauty industry. She is also trained in the field of Care Giving and Personal Assistant Work. She is specialized in teaching Make-Up, Dermalogica and esthetician education.
David Song, BSc (China), Dr. TCM, Instructor
David Song received his Bachelor degree in TCM Orthopedics & Traumatic Injured from Beijing University of TCM. He has practiced as a TCM doctor at Ji ShuiTan hospital in Beijing. He is registered a Doctor of TCM in BC. He is specialized in teaching Orthopedics & Traumatic Injured and Acupressure/Tuina.
Erica Perry, Instructor
Erica Perry is a trained massage therapist with over 8 years professional experience in the Spa industry. She is specialized in teaching Spa, Aromatherapy and Massage courses.
Eva Lum, Dr. TCM, Instructor
Eva Lum graduated from GuangZhou University of TCM with over 15 years professional experience in Chinese Medicine. She is a registered Doctor of TCM in BC. She is specialized in teaching internship courses in PCU teaching clinic.
Fang Liu, Dr. TCM,
Fang Liu received his Doctor of TCM training from Guangxi University of TCM with over 25 years practicing and teaching experience. He has worked in various Hospitals and Clinics in Montreal and Vancouver. He is a registered Doctor of TCM in BC. He is specialized in teaching TCM Classics.
Flora Fang, MSc (China), Dr. TCM, Instructor
Flora Fang received her Master degree in Integrative medicine from Shanghai University of TCM. She has 15 experiences in the Chinese Medicine Research & Clinical Practice at Hangzhou Red Cross Hospital. She also has 10 years experience as a TCM instructor. She is a registered Doctor of TCM in BC. She is specialized in teaching Herbology and Herbal Formula.
Helga Peterson, Instructor
Helga Peterson received her Foot Reflexology Instructor Training in BC with over 10 years professional and instructional experience. She has been teaching extensively in the Germany and Canada. She is specialized in teaching Foot Reflexology in the Spa Practitioner program.
Jayson Dirk, R. RMT, Instructor
Jayson Dirk is a Registered Massage Therapist in BC with over 10 years professional and instructional experience. He is specialized in teaching Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage Therapy courses in the Spa Practitioner program.
Jimiao Han, Ph. D (China), R. TCMP, Instructor
Jimiao Han received his Ph. D in TCM from Shandong University. He has 8 years of clinical experience at Shandong Hospital of TCM internal medicine department. He also has five years of TCM instructor at Shandong Minjin College of Medicine and Shandong Hongxing College of Medicine. He specializes in teaching Herbal Formula, TCM Internal Medicine.
John Yang, Dr. TCM; PhD; MD (China), Dean and Clinic Director
John Yang received his five years medical training in medicine from the Medical School of Hainan University in 1983. He got the position as an assistant professor in the same university. He received further TCM training in the Provincial TCM Hospital of Hainan. He earned his PhD from Guangzhou University of TCM. He has 22 years of practicing and teaching experience. He is the former president of B.C. Qualified Acupuncturists & TCM Practitioners Association. Dr. Yang was elected as board director of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA) in 2005.Kathryn Tian, MS (China); Dr. TCM, Instructor
Kathryn Tian received her Master’s degree in Integrative Medicine from China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and her Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Medicine from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. She has worked as an oncologist with the Department of Oncology at Guang An Men Hospital in Beijing. She is a registered Doctor of TCM in BC. Kathryn has been a bilingual TCM educator in the Vancouver area for more than 10 years and is specialized in teaching herbal case studies, clinical TCM and clinical internships.Lili Wang, MS (China), R. Lili Wang received her Master Degree in Acupuncture/Qigong in the TCM Academy of China. She was an associate professor in the Hubei University of TCM. She has 21 years of TCM practice and teaching experience. She is a registered Acupuncturist in BC. Peng Cheng Xiong received his PhD in TCM from Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has over 10 years of TCM instructor and clinical experience at WuHan. He is specialized in teaching Science of Tuina, Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Orthopedics and Traumatology of TCM.
Sin Yu (Elaine) Chow, MD (Taiwan); MS (US), Instructor
Elaine Chow graduated from Taipei Medical University in Taiwan. Throughout her career, she has served as Chief Resident Physician in a number of departments at Taipei Municipal General, including the Department of Neurology, the Department of Nursing Homes, and the Stroke Unit. She also served as Assistant Manager of the International Group for the Department of Health in Taipei. She is specializes in teaching biomedical courses.
Ronggan Li, MS (China); R. Ac., Instructor
Ronggan Li received his Master’s degree in TCM from Guangzhou University. He has over 15 years of TCM instructor and clinical experience at China and Canada. He is specialized in teaching acupuncture theory, location, techniques and therapeutic treatments.
Sherry Duggal, BS; ND, Instructor
Sherry Duggal received her Naturopathic Doctorate training from Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2004. She is specialized in teaching Anatomy course in the Spa Practitioner program.
Silja Leung, MS (China); R. TCM P, Instructor
Silja Leung received her Master’s degree from Guangzhou University of TCM. She is a registered of TCM Practitioner in BC. She has over 10 experiences in practicing acupuncture in great Vancouver. She specializes in teaching acupoint and meridian, acupoint location in the acupuncture program.
Tao Song, PhD (China); R. TCMP, Instructor
Tao Song received her Ph. D in Gynecology from the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She was an associate professor at the department of Reproductive Health in Family Planning Research Institute of Sichuan. She has 17 years teaching experience. She specializes in teaching TCM Gynecology and Internship.
Vickie Chen, P.I.D.(BC); CFA; NAHA, Instructor
Vickie Chen is an internationally trained and certified practitioner with over 13 years professional and instructional experience in the Spa industry. She received various Certified Instructor Licenses in Canada and Tokyo. She is specialized in teaching Spa and Aromatherapy.
Yanmei Li, Ph. D (China); R. TCMP, Instructor
Yanmei Li received her PhD from Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine of china with over 20 years professional and instructional experience. She was a specialist of cardiology at the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of TCM. She is specialized in teaching TCM Diagnosis, Herbalogy and internship courses.
Yinyan Wong, R. TCM, Instructor
Yinyan Wong received his medical training from Xia Men University with over 15 years professional and instructional experience in TCM. He is a registered Doctor of TCM in BC. He is specialized in teaching TCM Theory and TCM Diagnostics.
Zhaozhi Cheng, Dr. TCM (China); R. TCM H, Professor
Professor Cheng graduated from the six-year TCM major program at the Hubei Univesity of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1967. He worked as a TCM physician and later became a professor and a TCM PhD program mentor at the same university. Over his 40 years of practice, Professor Cheng conducted seven different scientific research projects granted by the Government of China. He published 75 academic papers in national and international TCM journals. He is frequently invited to speak at international TCM conferences as well. Professor Cheng is also the chief editor of the “TCM Diagnostics” textbook, one of the standard textbooks for all TCM universities in China.
Zhen Tao Lin, MS (China), Instructor
Zhen Tao Lin received his Master degree in Pharmacology from Guangzhou Medical College. He has 18 years of teaching experience in the field of Pharmacology as an associate professor of Pharmacology department in Guangzhou Medical College. He specializes in teaching Western medicine courses such as Pharmacology and Diagnosis. Zhixin Huang, MS (China); R. TCM P, Instructor Zhixin Huang received his Master degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Guangzhou University. He worked as a professor in the same university. He has 10 years of instructional and clinic experience. He specializes in teaching Herb Formula.
