MESSAGE FROM THE DEAN

Growing interest in natural health and longevity has raised public awareness of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), herbal medical remedies and other forms of alternative therapies. An increasing number of practitioners now refer patients to holistic medicine clinics for supplementary therapies that support the healing process. Many public medical service plans and extended health benefits programs now recognize the advantage of these treatments and offer to cover the expense of acupuncture treatments or massage therapy sessions.

This has driven the demand for qualified practitioners who are thoroughly trained in TCM theory and techniques, as well as, the fundamentals of Western Medical Science. At PCU College of Holistic Medicine, we see the potential in this market and as a result we are providing a superior education and clinical preparation for all students. By adopting the holistic approach to medicine, practitioners learn to specialize in TCM and be well-rounded healthcare providers.

This growth is in large part due to the success of our graduates who have gone to practice TCM, Acupuncture, Tuina, Spa and Esthetics services in clinics or private practice, both domestically and internationally.
